Customer Service Rep, Distribution/ General Warehouse
Position Purpose
Under minimal supervision, this position acts as a liaison between the case good operations group, customer service representatives, other internal departments and outside transportation representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and to resolve any resulting issues. Generates daily warehouse documentation to support picking, shipping, inventory, receiving and logistics activities for the distribution center. Works with management and compliance department to ensure company policies are followed in accordance to all state, federal and international regulations.
EssentialDuties
- Schedule inbound, outbound, and export transactions of finished goods and any miscellaneous materials.
- Work with Compliance, Customer Service, internal and external customers and carriers to ensure all required documentation is processed accurately.
- Generate reports for case goods operations.
- Create transfers of cased goods between facilities according to guidelines.
- Complete transactions of stock movement activities and perform inventory audits/reconciliation when needed.
- Conduct cycle counts, investigate and resolve inventory issues with Distribution Manager, Supervisors and Compliance.
- Process sales orders, tasting room orders, POS, QC, winemaker and some off‑site warehouse requests and expedite as necessary.
- Provide customer service and build rapport by investigating issues with various departments and providing resolution.
- Expedite orders to ensure on‑time delivery; prioritize customer orders.
- Give recommendations that can improve overall effectiveness and efficiency.
- Actively seek to provide leveled scheduling to promote best flow for distribution operations.
- Follow company policies and participate in all aspects of safety.
- Verify finished case goods orders staged for delivery are complete and accurate using SAP.
- Assist with project implementation and special duties as assigned.
- Participate in year‑end cycle counts.
- Participate in Lean initiatives.

- Participate in maintaining an organized and safe work environment.

- High school diploma or equivalent. 3+ years in direct or related field/experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years in direct or related field/experience.
- Excellent communication, analytical, negotiation and organizational skills.
- Experience involving customer contact, problem resolution and related product knowledge.
- Ability to plan, communicate and organize multiple priorities.
- Office environment.
- Drive automotive equipment.

California Pay Transparency DisclaimerThis is a Non‑Exempt position. The pay range for this position is $20.69 to $32.34. Placement within the range will be contingent on factors such as qualifications, education, experience, internal equity and market data.
