Service Specialist; Grocery Bagger - Yosemite, Manteca, CA

We are hiring a Service Specialist (Grocery Bagger) at 1431 W Yosemite, Manteca, CA 95336. This entry‑level store position offers opportunities for growth and learning within the Save Mart family of businesses. Service Specialists play an important role in the efficient operations of the front‑end by providing friendly, fast, and effective customer service. The goal is to create a welcoming and helpful store atmosphere, establishing loyal repeat customers.

Hiring pay range: $17.10 – $17.10 per hour.

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Continuous walking, standing, reaching, and bending.
• Work in environments that include indoor and outdoor with exposure to widely varying temperatures.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Strong team player with a willingness and desire to learn, work hard, and enjoy the job.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Provide a remarkable shopping experience by greeting and engaging with each customer, offering assistance, and ensuring their needs are met.
• Perform store sweeps with emphasis on the front‑end and entrance areas, keeping floors free of spills or debris to create a safe environment.
• Routine daily cleaning of registers, belts, check‑stand trash cans, dusting, and facing shelves.
• Collect and manage shopping carts from the parking lot, maintaining a cart‑free lot throughout the shift.
• Perform price checks and assist with returning items to the correct location, prioritizing perishables.
• Assist clerks in moving lines quickly during busy times by bagging groceries efficiently and protecting the quality of items.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
