Security Guard

To help aid in the creation of this new casino culture, Parkwest Casino is looking to hire a security guard. Our Security Guards are responsible for providing a safe environment by ensuring the security of the casino, employees and the guests.

A successful Security Guard will possess keen observation skills and understand the basic card room games while demonstrating a high level of customer service to various personality types from multiple cultures.

• Valid BSIS guard card or valid California Guard Card.
• Ability to operate a surveillance system quickly and effectively.
• Ability to write an accurate detailed report.
• Counting chips with a limited number of mistakes.
• Providing exceptional guest service and customer service excellence.
• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• Open availability; must work evenings, weekends, holidays, and be ready for any shift.
• Must be 21 years old or older.
• Must possess a valid California gambling establishment employee permit, badge or license.
• Must provide evidence of U.S. employment eligibility.
• Must pass a mandatory drug test, criminal background, and credit check.

• Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to sit, walk, stand, and bend at the neck for 6 or more hours a day.
• Must perform repetitive use of hands: simple and power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing & pulling, and reaching for the entire shift.
• May be exposed to excessive noise, dust, gas, flames, chemicals, extremes in temperature, humidity, or wetness.
• Capable of performing all essential duties with or without accommodation.
