Security Guard; Part-Time Sat&Sun

Position Purpose

Under supervision of the security supervisor the security guard is responsible for protecting a person, organization or asset in the case of an incident. Their duties include monitoring a specific area, evicting trespassers and writing reports detailing any occurrences during their shift. The overall duty of a security guard is to protect a company’s property, employees and visitors.

Location:

Manteca, CA

• Part‑time role on Saturday and Sundays from 12:00am‑8:30am (16 hours a week)

• Patrolling and monitoring activities on the company’s premises regularly to discourage criminals and ensure the environment is safe and secure
• Evicting trespassers and violators and detaining perpetrators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities
• Controlling the entrance and departure of employees, visitors and vehicles according to protocols
• Logging in and out trucks, sending them to their docks and checking their seals on their way out
• 7‑point inspection on trucks
• Monitoring surveillance cameras for any disruptions or unlawful activities
• Providing detailed reports to management on daily activities and any incidents that may have occurred
• Using provided communication devices such as two‑way radios in a clear and concise manner
• Calls police or fire departments in case of emergency, such as a fire or presence of unauthorized persons
• Performing CPR or first aid when needed

This is a Non‑Exempt position. The pay range for this position is $16.50 to $25.70. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Actual placement within range will be contingent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, internal equity and alignment with market data.
