1.Lead the full-process management of infrastructure construction for PV & energy storage power stations (PV zone, energy storage zone, step-up substation) in the Americas, including on-site supervision of key links such as construction plan review, site grading, foundation engineering, civil construction, equipment foundation pouring, cable trench excavation and back filling. Ensure that infrastructure construction complies with design specifications, local construction standards and project quality requirements.
2.Be responsible for communication and coordination with local competent authorities such as infrastructure and fire departments, and complete the submission and approval of relevant documents and formalities including infrastructure construction permits, fire protection design review and construction process filing.
3.Follow up on the rectification requirements for problems raised by local infrastructure and fire departments during inspections in a timely manner, formulate rectification plans and supervise the construction party to implement them within a time limit.
4.Project Schedule & Resource Coordination:
Formulate detailed infrastructure construction plans and milestone nodes, track construction progress in real time and adjust resource allocation dynamically. Overall coordinate external resources such as construction subcontractors, equipment suppliers and local labor teams, as well as internal technical, procurement and legal teams, resolve resource conflicts and other issues during the construction process to ensure the project progresses on schedule.
5.Cost & Risk Control:
Control the cost of infrastructure construction, review construction visas and engineering quantity accounting. Identify risks in the infrastructure construction process, formulate response measures and handle them in a timely manner.
1. Educational Background
Bachelor’s degree or above in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related majors; a master’s degree is preferred.
2. Work Experience
- Have 5 years or more of experience in infrastructure construction or on-site project management of new energy power stations (PV and energy storage preferred) in the Americas, and have fully participated in the full-process infrastructure management of at least 2 power stations.
- Candidates with experience in overseas power station infrastructure projects in North America are preferred, who are familiar with local construction specifications, environmental protection requirements and cross-cultural collaboration models.
- Possess hands-on experience in communicating and coordinating with local competent authorities such as infrastructure and fire departments, submitting and approving documents and rectifying problems.
- Proficiency in the infrastructure construction process of power stations (foundation, civil construction, equipment foundation, etc.), master the construction quality acceptance standards and safety management specifications, and be able to independently review construction plans and put forward optimization suggestions.
- Possess solid project management capabilities.
- Understand the installation requirements of AC-side equipment of PV & energy storage power stations (inverters, transformers, switch gear, etc.), and can smoothly connect the infrastructure, installation and commissioning links.
- Possess the ability to communicate and coordinate with local competent authorities such as infrastructure and fire departments, and be familiar with the processes and requirements for the submission and approval of documents such as infrastructure construction permits and fire protection design review in the Americas.
- Be able to coordinate the on-site inspections of competent authorities, efficiently formulate problem rectification plans and promote the closed-loop implementation by the construction party, and simultaneously complete the feedback and filing of rectification results.
- Possess excellent problem-solving abilities, and be able to quickly handle technical problems, resource conflicts and emergency situations in on-site construction.
Qualifications & Skills
- Candidates with PMP, Registered Constructor or locally recognized engineering management qualification certificates are preferred.
- Fluent in English listening, speaking, reading and writing, and able to use English as the working language for cross-cultural communication, document compilation and commercial negotiation.
- Proficient in using Office office software and CAD drawing reading tools.
- Able to work on a long-term basis at the factory in Chicago, Illinois, and accept necessary local business trips and overtime work.
- Possess a strong sense of responsibility, pressure resistance and team spirit, with clear goal orientation, and be able to efficiently promote the progress of infrastructure projects.
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese is preferred.
