The Construction Intern supports the Construction and Facilities team in the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale industrial construction projects. This role provides hands‑on exposure to site operations, project management, safety compliance, and scheduling within a fast-paced advanced manufacturing environment.

• Assist project managers and superintendents with daily construction activities and site coordination
• Support tracking of project schedules, milestones, and deliverables
• Help review construction drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Conduct site walks to document progress, safety compliance, and quality standards
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal engineering teams
• Assist in preparing reports, meeting notes, and project updates
• Support inventory tracking of materials and equipment deliveries
• Ensure adherence to OSHA and company safety standards at all times
• Exposure to large-scale industrial or battery manufacturing facility construction
• Hands‑on experience with construction project management tools and processes
• Understanding of civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical coordination
• Real‑world experience in safety management and regulatory compliance
• Collaboration with cross‑functional engineering and operations teams

• Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a field‑based construction environment
• Basic understanding of construction drawings and project documentation preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work in a team‑oriented environment

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package at Gotion, and is determined within a range. This provides you with the opportunity to progress as you grow and advance your career  base pay range for this role is shown below, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experiences, and location.

$24 - $25 USD
