IT Engineer; SAP

Gotion Inc. is seeking an experienced Systems Implementation Senior Engineer to lead the planning, deployment, and continuous optimization of enterprise digital systems across our North American manufacturing and commercial operations. This role sits at the intersection of business process and technology, requiring both deep system expertise and strong cross‑functional collaboration skills. The ideal candidate has hands‑on implementation experience with SAP, MES, and WMS platforms, and thrives in a fast‑paced, cross‑cultural environment.

• Lead end-to-end digital transformation projects including requirements gathering, solution design, system configuration, functional validation, go‑live support, and post‑implementation optimization
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure system solutions align with operational needs
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, test plans, and user manuals
• Own the planning, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of commercial and operational systems including ERP, CRM, and SRM platforms
• Lead SAP module implementations and enhancements across relevant functional areas (MM, SD, PP, WM, FI/CO)
• Support and optimize OA/workflow platforms (e.g., Fanwei/泛微 OA) and ensure integration with core enterprise systems

• Lead the planning, implementation, and maintenance of production and logistics systems including PLM, MES, and WMS
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure system configurations support production workflows, quality management, and inventory control
• Support Gotion's Manteno facility buildout by establishing system infrastructure for new manufacturing lines and warehouse operations

• Own master data governance across enterprise systems, establishing data standards, validation rules, and stewardship processes
• Design and maintain cross‑system data integration workflows, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across ERP, MES, WMS, and CRM platforms
• Monitor system performance, identify integration gaps, and implement continuous improvement initiatives

• Conduct business process reviews across functional domains including operations, supply chain, sales, and manufacturing
• Identify process improvement opportunities and lead structured improvement initiatives in collaboration with department leads
• Translate operational requirements into system configurations and workflow enhancements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of enterprise IT implementation experience, with direct hands‑on experience in SAP configuration and deployment
• Demonstrated experience implementing or managing CRM and/or SRM systems
• Familiarity with SAP core modules and working knowledge of OA platforms (Fanwei/泛微 preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese — English must be functional as a working language
• Ability to work across time zones and adapt to project schedules involving international (China HQ) collaboration
• High sense of ownership, accountability, and ability to perform under pressure with 24/7 on‑call system support when required

• Hands‑on MES and/or WMS implementation experience in a manufacturing environment
• PMP or ITIL certification
• Experience working in a battery, EV, or renewable energy manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with cross‑border data integration between US and China‑based systems
• Experience supporting greenfield manufacturing facility system deployments
