Production Supervisor - Pack Line

Gotion Inc. is based in Silicon Valley, CA, currently building a Manufacturing facility in Manteno, IL and has R&D centers in Ohio, China, Japan and Europe. We innovate in the next generation electric vehicle and energy storage technologies (lithium batteries and related systems) with the aim to accelerate electrified transportation and achieve sustainable development. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of production workers on the assigned shift or production line.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet daily targets.
• Ensure adherence to company safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Conduct start-of-shift meetings and provide work instructions to the team.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records; report key metrics.
• Train new employees and evaluate the performance of production staff.
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with maintenance or engineering teams when needed.
• Promote a clean, organized, and efficient work environment (5S principles).
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, etc.).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or lead experience in a production setting.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality control.
• Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and use basic measurement tools.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office and production reporting software (e.g., ERP, MES).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese is a plus.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 -$100,000, plus eligibility for 15% bonus and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by factors such as the role, level, and geographic location. The range listed in the job posting represents the minimum and maximum target salaries for this position across all U.S. locations. Actual compensation within the range will be influenced by the specific work location, along with factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
