Salary Range: $20.00 To $22.50 Annually
JOBSUMMARY:
Forklift Driverisresponsibleformovinggoods,loadedpalletsandequipmentsafelyandsecurely.
Inadditiontodriving forklifts, a Forklift Driver also has a range of other warehouse duties such as packaging shipments or checking inventories.
- Loading,unloading,shipping,andreceivingwarehouseitems.
- Transportingmaterialstodifferentlocationswithinthefacility.
- Optimizingloadstoensureoperationalefficiency.
- Securingloadstothemachinebeforetransportation.
- Accuratelyfillingoutshiftpaperwork.
- Adheringtoproductionschedules.
- Inspectingfordamagestovehicles.
- Schedulingvehiclesformaintenanceandrepairs.
- Ensurethatall Safety rules,OSHArequirementsand Company Policiesarefollowed .
- Otherresponsibilitiesasassignedbymanagement.
- Allstaffareresponsiblefor
CompliancewithallGMP,Food Safetyand Plant Safetyruleswhile in the processing facility.
Staff are encouraged to report Food Safety and Quality concerns immediately to their supervisors and Quality representatives on shift.
Qualifiedindividualsmustbe atleast
18yearsoldtoworkinthefoodmanufacturingenvironment.
Abilitytofollowwork instruction and keep pace of shipping department is required.
Individual must have thorough understanding of shipping policies and procedures. Effective communication skills are needed to support forklift team.
This position requires incumbenttohavekeenattentiontodetailandexperienceworkinginateam-oriented,collaborative environment.
Individual will need to pass certification from Urban Farmer. The individual must be able to perform each essential job duty and responsibility satisfactorily.
Individual must have good hand/eye coordination and excellent motor skills to operate necessary machinery safely.
