Allied Water Services is seeking a dependable, hardworking Construction Laborer to join our growing team. This position supports our excavation crews by performing manual labor, assisting equipment operators, preparing job sites, installing materials, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. Responsibilities
  • Assist with excavation, sewer, septic, utility, foundation, and waterproofing projects.
  • Dig trenches and perform hand excavation when machinery cannot be used.
  • Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Install pipe, fittings, and other underground utilities under the direction of the Foreman.
  • Backfill, compact, grade, and restore work areas.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
  • Work safely around heavy equipment and follow all company safety procedures.
  • Protect customers' lawns, driveways, sidewalks, landscaping, and other property throughout each project.
  • Assist with traffic control, site preparation, and cleanup.
  • Report safety concerns, damaged equipment, or project issues to the Foreman.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the crew.
Qualifications
  • Construction, landscaping, excavation, or general labor experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the day.
  • Willingness to learn excavation, utility installation, and construction techniques.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to work overtime and occasional Saturdays when needed.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to be part of a team.
