Maintenance Technician - $26-$34/hr DOE!

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our food manufacturing client to start immediately at $26-$34/hr DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!

Responsibilities

Our company is expanding, and we’re looking for Maintenance Technicians who take ownership of their work, proactively identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. In this role, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, complete repairs, and conduct condition-based monitoring to reduce downtime and support production goals.

  • Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and basic repairs on production and packaging equipment in accordance with established standards.
  • Support troubleshooting efforts across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; elevate more complex issues as needed.
  • Conduct routine condition-based checks (including temperature, pressure, and visual inspections) and report any irregularities or trends.
  • Carry out fundamental precision maintenance tasks such as proper torque application, lubrication, and belt/chain adjustments.
  • Utilize CMMS to create, update, and close work orders; accurately document failure codes, labor, and parts usage.
  • Adhere to GMP, HACCP, and SQF standards; safeguard product integrity, prevent allergen cross‑contact, and assist with pre‑operational checks.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to safety by following LOTO procedures, using appropriate PPE, and completing pre‑task risk assessments; keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and production teams regarding equipment status, parts requirements, and potential risks; contribute to smooth shift transitions.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
  • Overtime as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience (food, beverage, or CPG industry preferred).
  • Solid mechanical skills and/or basic electrical knowledge, with the ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools, along with basic diagnostic instruments such as multimeters and gauges.
  • Experience using CMMS for work order management, failure tracking, and parts documentation.
  • Understanding of GMP and food safety standards, along with a strong commitment to safe work practices.
Nice to Have
  • Trade school training or technical coursework in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with CBM/PdM technologies (e.g., infrared cameras, vibration tools, ultrasound) and basic PLC troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with CIP/COP systems, sanitary equipment, compressed air, steam, or refrigeration systems.
  • OSHA‑10 certification, forklift or aerial lift certification, and/or basic welding and fabrication skills.
