Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team in Manteno, United States. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our valued customers.
$15-$25 an Hour!
* Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages and goods to designated locations
* Load and unload packages with care, ensuring proper handling of all items
* Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
* Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures upon completion
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
* Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
* Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or inquiries professionally
* Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
* Assist with additional tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
* Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with GPS technology
* Strong time management and organizational abilities
* Previous delivery experience preferred
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Physical ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Knowledge of Manteno area and surrounding regions
* Flexible schedule, including availability for weekends and holidays as needed
* Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking and communication
