ANTICIPATED:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Full Time, Tenured position
We are looking for a conscientious and collaborative Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). A BCBA plays a critical role in supporting students, teachers and building administration. It is necessary to have excellent collaboration skills to support teachers, parents, and other school personnel to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities- Assessment and Evaluation:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' behavior, social skills, and academic performance.
- Utilize standardized assessment tools and direct observation techniques to gather relevant data.
- Analyze assessment results to identify behavioral strengths, challenges, and areas for intervention.
- Behavior Intervention Planning:
- Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment findings and behavioral principles.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to establish clear goals and objectives.
- Design behavior modification strategies and teaching techniques tailored to the unique needs of each student.
- Implementation and Monitoring:
- Provide ongoing support and training to school staff in implementing behavior intervention plans effectively.
- Monitor student progress through data collection, behavior tracking, and regular progress reports.
- Adjust intervention strategies as needed based on ongoing assessment and analysis of student outcomes.
- Consultation and
Collaboration:- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Provide consultation and guidance on behavior management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and classroom accommodations.
- Communicate regularly with parents to discuss progress, address concerns, and provide support for implementing behavior strategies at home.
- Professional Development:
- Stay current on research and best practices in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and special education.
- Participate in professional development activities, workshops, and training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Pursue ongoing professional development and maintain certification requirements as outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Master's or doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Experience working with children and adolescents with diverse behavioral and learning needs in a school or educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles, behavior assessment techniques, and behavior intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, and other school personnel.
- Ability to analyze data, problem-solve, and make data-driven decisions to support student success.
- Commitment to professional development and adherence to ethical standards of practice.
This position is for an existing vacancy and we are looking to fill this role within 2-4 weeks.
Salary Range: $63,110 - $95,350 for the school year based on years of experience and level of education
