Business Teacher
Manville High School is seeking a dynamic, passionate, and student-centered Business Teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will inspire students by delivering a comprehensive business curriculum that bridges academic concepts with real-world applications. You will prepare students for future college and career success by fostering critical thinking, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all planning and instruction as per the district curriculum.
- Teach engaging, standards-based business courses that emphasize real-world application.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learners' needs.
- Integrate technology and modern business tools into daily instruction to enhance student learning.
- Support business-related extracurriculars (e.g., DECA, FBLA, clubs).
- Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Collaborate with department colleagues, administration, and parents to support student achievement.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Business Education, or a related field. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to utilize educational technology platforms (e.g., Canvas, Google Classroom, Genesis) effectively. Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate with a Comprehensive Business (Certificate #1300) endorsement (or eligibility)
Salary and Benefits in accordance with the Manville Education Association. The annual salary range is commensurate with education level and years of experience, starting at $66,705 (minimum) to $95,850 (maximum). Benefits:
