School Nurse

School Nurse, Manville School District Full Time Position Qualifications

• Active NJRNlicense and/or NJ DOE School Nurse Certification preferred

• Provide directnursingcare, triage, emergency care, and first aid to students and staff.
• Administer daily medications and treatments in accordance with district policies and state regulations.
• Screen for vision, hearing, scoliosis, and other required health assessments.
• Serve as floating/backup health coverage across district school buildings when peernursesare absent or during peak health service needs.
• Collaborate with districtnursingstaff to ensure consistent care standards across all schools.
• Accompany students on district-wide field trips to manage care plans, deliver medication, and ensure emergency preparedness.
• Maintain accurate, confidential student medical records, immunizations, and individualized healthcare plans (IHPs/504s).
• Communicate proactively with parents, guardians, physicians, and school staff regarding student health concerns.

Salary and Benefits in accordance with the Manville Education Association. The annual salary range is commensurate with education level and years of experience, starting at $66,705 (minimum) to $95,850 (maximum) for the  school year. Benefits:
