LHH is searching for a staff accountant for a company near Maple Grove, Minnesota. This role will sit on a revenue accounting team and will be looking for someone who understands bank reconciliations.
Responsibilities- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of all bank account activity
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and AR reporting
- Execute revenue accounting
, ensuring proper and timely revenue recognition - Identify potential bad debt and support collections efforts
- Prepare revenue-focused reporting and assist with financial statement preparation
- Support sales tax processes (prior experience not required)
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
- 1+ year experience in accounting
- Strong reconciliations/ AR fundamentals
- Understand how revenue is reported and how to spot issues
- Strong problem solver who isn t afraid to speak up, ask questions, help figure out a fix
- Ability to help drive a resolution
- $65,000-$75,000
