Overview
Location: Maple Grove, MN (Hybrid located in Minnesota, only local candidates will be eligible)

We are partnering with a well-established organization in the property management and real estate space that is looking to add a Staff Accountant to its growing accounting team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on accounting work, thrives in a structured close process, and wants exposure to property-level accounting and reporting.
This position will support a portfolio of properties and work closely with internal stakeholders across operations and finance. The team values accuracy, accountability, and collaboration, and is looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow within property accounting.
What you’ll be doing- Support day-to-day general ledger accounting for a portfolio of properties
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed
- Help with CAM reconciliations, tenant billings, and variance analysis
- Partner with property managers and internal teams to ensure accurate financials
- Assist with audits and ad hoc accounting projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- 1–4 years of accounting experience (property management or real estate a plus)
- Understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close
- Experience with accounting systems (Yardi, MRI, App Folio, or similar is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment
