Position Summary:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing general accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, and supporting financial reporting processes. This role plays a key part in maintaining compliance with accounting standards, improving financial procedures, and assisting management with financial analysis and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete general ledger functions, including journal entries and account reconciliations

Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes

Manage fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and related reporting

Manage prepaid and accrual accounts

Intercompany Payable/Receivable reconciliation across all entities

Prepare payroll and payroll related journal entries

Analyze financial results and investigate variances

Support external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting

Identify process improvement opportunities and implement accounting best practices

Qualifications & Requirements:

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA (Contador Público Certificado) or equivalent preferred4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience

Strong knowledge of GAAP (or applicable accounting framework)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite)

Experience with financial close processes and reconciliations

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Preferred

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification

Experience in public accounting or a similar industry

Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
