Construction Superintendent – Service Master RRH

Location:

Maple Grove, MN.

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 per year (negotiable based on experience) + company vehicle and eligibility for yearly bonus.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Direct communication with customers for excellent service.
  • Manage and schedule direct report carpenters.
  • Coordinate technical problem resolution with the Regional Construction Manager.
  • Ensure timely procurement of materials, permits, licenses and inspections by foremen and carpenters.
  • Ensure quality and timely completion of all construction projects.
  • Maintain scope details, time/material specifications and report scope discrepancies.
  • Assist in change order estimating, approval and documentation.
  • Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
  • Monitor productivity of construction division employees.
  • Review job cost reports to monitor labor and material expenses.
  • Schedule, price, and monitor subcontractor performance.
  • Comply with safety practices, PPE use, and MSDS requirements.
  • Enforce company policies as per Employee Handbook and DSI safety manual.
  • Operate company vehicle to customer locations.
  • Achieve or exceed federal, state, local regulations and company/customer quality standards.
  • Keep jobsite clean and professional.
  • Manage schedule for on‑call rotation, nights, and weekends.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Minimum 5 years hands‑on construction experience.
  • 2 years project management experience (preferred).
  • Strong remodeling/restoration experience (preferred).
  • Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Physical capability to move/lift 50+ lbs.
  • Background check and drug screen clearance.
  • Experience with Xactimate (preferred).
