** Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Position Summary:

** Administers and coordinates the daily operations of the project site under the supervision of Site Manager. Will be the lead supervisor in the training effort of the Field Construction Coordinator job functions to ensure Blattner administrative processes are learned, developed and demonstrated. Works with the team of Trade Superintendents to learn and understand multiple work disciplines along with being a leader in cost control, quantity tracking, procurement, client satisfaction and daily jobsite needs and work activities.
** Essential Job Functions
*** Trains and develops Field Construction Coordinator, Project Administrative Assistant, Foremen and new Trade Supts. The training will be Corporate processes (to include but not limited to: cost accounting, tracking, time cards, contracts, hire/screen paperwork, and division of responsibility) to develop skill sets to a proficient and productive level.
* Responsible for ensuring on-site Risk Management programs and processes are administered. Serves as on-site Safety Representative when necessary.
* Collaborates with the Project Manager on the proper use of work codes, cost types, and units of measure. Responsible for working with management team on establishing work codes for change orders.
* Oversees and completes daily production and costs by monitoring the major work items to ensure production, cost data, and safety are collected from prior day and shared with supervisors for purposes of analysis and planning.
* Tracks progress of project and financial status by analyzing/monitoring  hourly cost and production; comparing initial project cost budget to actual daily cost and production data. Identifies alternate methods of construction and evaluate costs to original budget. Assists PM and Site Manager representatives with cost-to-complete information along with learning the process and theory of the CTC. Shall have and demonstrate intimate knowledge of quantity tracking and knowing the cost of the work.
* Collaborates with Site Manager and Superintendents to appropriately staff all project positions by following established hiring policy and guidelines. Documents, communicates and provides information to Human Resources on field personnel related issues or problems occurring on the jobsite.
* Supports the Project Manager and Site Manager on the collection of information for change orders, pay quantities and the estimation of changes on the job. Collaboration with the Client on these items would occur only with the approval of the PM or SM. Supports or prepares monthly invoices to owner. Follow-up on status of payments if payment has not been received.

Validates, reconciles, and maintains accurate quantities for billing purposes and communicates differences to management. Knowledgeable of over/under billings and their implications to the project.
* Ensures the FCC’s create the criteria and set-up the project for the Plan of the Day meeting. Will have the ability to look ahead on the work, creates/update indicators, and implements a full project schedule with bar charts. Utilizes corporate scheduling program when updating project schedule. Utilizes existing Excel indicators and worksheets included in Best Practices.
