School Photographer - Maple Grove, MN

Role Overview

Seasonal School Photographer with JostensPIX starting July 21, 2026.

Must reside in Maple Grove, MN area.

We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals with no experience required. Bring positive energy, a reliable vehicle, and a passion for making kids smile.

• Capture genuine smiles and school memories during picture days.
• Use personal vehicle to travel to local schools as scheduled.
• Transport, set up and take down photography equipment at school locations.
• Use photo software to organize and manage images.
• Work independently for smaller events after training.
• Occasional overnight stays (hotel + per diem paid).

• High school diploma or GED (must be 18+).
• Reliable, insured vehicle and valid U.S. driver’s license (public transportation not permitted).
• Willingness to start early (driving start times as early as 4 AM) and handle occasional extended hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs of camera equipment.
• Ability to store camera equipment at home when not in use.
• Cheerful, friendly personality—especially around kids.
• Comfortable working in a school environment with children of all ages and abilities.
• Strong communication, customer service, and technical skills.
• Comfort with computers, cameras, and learning new programs.
• Professional grooming and appearance reflecting Jostens standards.
• Reliable cell phone and internet access.

• 401(k) match eligibility from Day 1.
• Seasonal flexibility: work through November, with a chance to extend into December depending on event schedules.
• Average 30+ hours per week with overtime pay during peak weeks.
• Paid training.
• Paid travel time and mileage reimbursement.
• Promotion potential to Photo Team Lead and earn an extra $1/hour.
• Daily pay option via Daily Pay.
