Schedule:
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm;
Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

As a Dental Hygienist at Metro Dental care, you will be recognized as an elite clinical provider and patient advocate. You will be an integral member of the patient care team, providing the time and care your patients need, deserve, and desire. - Current dental hygienist license in Minnesota and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Experienced hygienists and new graduates welcome to apply
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x‑rays, and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventive care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
- Clinical experience as required by the office
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office, Doctor, or Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
- May need to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in‑person) periodically throughout the year
- A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre‑employment process. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
