2ndShift: 1:30 pm - 9:30 pm
About the role:
With general supervisory direction, assist in the daily support of products, processes, materials, and equipment in order to achieve production goals in the MCT Laser Cutting factory (i.e., quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and safety).
Work ModeAt Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows an onsite work model, requiring employees to be in our local office five days per week.

Your responsibilities will include:- Identify and troubleshoot process, material, or equipment problems to minimize downtime
- Modify existing and develop new tooling and fixtures
- Revise existing documents, processes, and/or methods to correct or improve processes/product
- Work with vendors/suppliers to procure and install tooling, fixtures, and/or equipment
- Assist in writing validation plans, executing plans, and completing validation reports
- Assist in Value Improvement (VIP) and Employee Involvement Team (EIT) projects, implementing new equipment or processes or improving existing ones for cost savings
- Collect data and perform statistical analysis for process characterization, Cpk, and scrap reduction goals.
- Work with Process Development to bring new products into production
- Work with departmental customers to improve material quality and delivery
- Train and provide technical support or direction to product builders and other technicians
- 3 years of experience with a high school diploma/degree/equivalent
- Experience with Class IV Laser systems
- 3 years of experience as a technician in a manufacturing environment

Minimum Salary: $55,432
Maximum Salary: $94,224
The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see – will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.
Compensation for non‑exempt (hourly), non‑sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
