Manufacturing Engineer
About the role:
Under general supervisory direction, assists in the daily support of processes, materials and equipment for medical devices consisting of extruded, braided and injection‑molded components in order to meet production goals.
Your responsibilities will include:- Identify and troubleshoot process, material or equipment issues to minimize downtime and meet production goals.
- Modify existing and develop new tooling and fixtures.
- Revise existing documents, processes, and/or methods to improve processes.
- Work with vendors and suppliers to procure and install tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
- Work with engineers on continuous improvement projects and new product transfers.
- Work with departmental customers to improve material / process quality.
- Identify and assist in resolving safety, health, or environmental issues associated with processes or equipment, and maintain compliance with good manufacturing practices.
- Train and provide technical support or direction to product builders and other technicians.
- Write and execute validation protocols and technical reports.
- 1 year of experience with a high school diploma/degree/equivalent.
- Previous medical device experience with a focus on quality.
- Communication, problem‑solving, and adaptability.

3rd Shift: 9:30 pm – 5:30 am
Work Mode: Onsite, five days per week.

Minimum Salary: $38,688
Maximum Salary: $65,728
The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) — see —will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.
Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
