Physician, Pediatrics Urgent Care

Overview

Twin Cities Park Nicollet Clinic is seeking a full-time pediatrician to join its pediatric urgent care team. Our pediatric-focused clinic is designed with the child in mind. Our smallest patients will receive exceptional walk-in care for sudden illnesses and injuries, 7 days a week. In this high-paced position, you can expect to see the full spectrum of pediatric injuries and conditions.

Board certification and previous acute care pediatric experience required. Previous emergency medicine or urgent care experience is highly desirable. Flexible scheduling options available. To accommodate the needs of our patients, evenings and weekends are required.

• Provide urgent care for pediatric patients, including walk-in care for sudden illnesses and injuries, 7 days a week.
• Work in a high-paced pediatric urgent care setting with a broad spectrum of injuries and conditions.
• Collaborate with the pediatric team across Park Nicollet Clinic locations.
• Engage in leadership, teaching, quality improvement, and research activities where applicable.

• Board certification in pediatrics.
• Previous acute care pediatric experience required.
• Previous emergency medicine or urgent care experience is highly desirable.
• Flexible scheduling; evenings and weekends required.

Our pediatric practice includes managing the acute and chronic care of patients along with well-child visits at 13 Park Nicollet Clinic locations. Many general pediatricians have subspecialty interests and participate in leadership, teaching, quality improvement and research activities. Park Nicollet offers a full spectrum of pediatric services including Melrose Institute, pediatric endocrinology, pediatric orthopedics, pediatric ophthalmology, and child/adolescent mental health services.

We encourage community involvement through outreach, free community clinics, and relationships with area schools. We are dedicated to the full implementation of medical home.
