Learning Design Specialist (Temp-to-Hire)

1099 Contract Temp-to-Hire
Our client is seeking a Learning Design Specialist to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. This role plays a key part in shaping impactful learning experiences for a medical sales organization
, partnering closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to design, develop, and deliver high‑quality learning solutions.
- Design and develop high‑quality learning materials aligned to clear performance objectives, including instructor‑led training (ILT), eLearning storyboards, videos, simulations, and multimedia assets.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Operations to assess learning needs, define objectives, and identify performance gaps using data and field insights.
- Build structured learning curricula and learning pathways that align with business priorities and support skill progression for sales learners.
- Create engaging, interactive learning experiences grounded in adult learning principles, cognitive science, and diverse instructional strategies.
- Use Articulate 360 (or equivalent tools) to develop Tier 1 eLearning modules.
- Collaborate with the Learning Technologist to enhance learning through digital delivery.
- Partner with Sales Training Managers (STMs), Product Marketing, and key stakeholders on new product launches, strategic learning initiatives, and training campaigns.
- Review and evaluate training materials for accuracy, relevance, and alignment with Quality System, Compliance, and Legal requirements.
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback to continuously refine learning content.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects while ensuring timelines and resources remain aligned.
- Develop evaluation methods to measure training effectiveness and analyze results to recommend content improvements and future enhancements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning Sciences, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and technical writing
- Basic proficiency with Articulate to develop Tier 1 training content and support LMS deployment
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to take initiative and work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong ability to quickly learn and apply new terminology
