Job SummaryTo inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning.
Develop, support, and sustain implementation of rigorous scholar learning through differentiated, extended, and enriched (DEE) instruction and opportunities. Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to ensure scholars are engaged in challenging learning and discover their unique interests and strengths. Facilitate and support implementation of English Language Arts and Math academic challenges, support development of individual scholar goals, and facilitate independent scholar projects.
Work collaboratively with building leaders to identify, plan, and deliver DEE instruction and opportunities, monitor the fidelity of DEE implementation; initiate and sustain collaboration within and across departments, programs, and sites to improve achievement. Make appropriate and equitable use of resources and technologies; maintain contact and communication with staff, administrators, scholars, guardians/caregivers, and community, state, and federal agencies; collaborate within and across departments, programs, and sites;
implement district, school, program, or department goals and objectives. Provide in‑person, synchronous learning and support when applicable; participate in district, building, and department leadership activities. Ability to be flexible with work hours to meet the needs of the program, building, and/or district at the discretion of the supervisor.
- MN teaching license in appropriate field, OR a valid MN teaching license in another field and willing to obtain an Out of Field Permission.
- If not currently licensed, must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive a Tier 1 or 2.
- Classroom teaching experience preferred.
