Job SummaryTo inspire and prepare each scholar with confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to the community; and engage in a lifetime of learning. Develop, support, and sustain implementation of rigorous scholar learning through differentiated, extended, and enriched (DEE) instruction and opportunities. Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure scholars are engaged in challenging learning and discover their unique interests and strengths, facilitate and support implementation of English Language Arts and Math academic challenges, support development of individual scholar goals and independent scholar projects, collaborate with building leaders to plan and deliver DEE instruction and monitor its fidelity.
Initiate and sustain collaboration within and across departments, programs, and sites to improve achievement; use resources and technologies equitably; maintain contact and communication with staff, administrators, scholars, guardians/caregivers, community and government agencies; implement district, school, and program objectives; provide in‑person, synchronous learning and support as applicable; participate in district, building, and department leadership activities. Ability to be flexible with work hours as directed by supervisor.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- MN teaching license in appropriate field, or valid MN teaching license in another field and willing to obtain an Out of Field Permission. If not currently licensed, must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive a Tier 1 or 2.
- Classroom teaching experience preferred.
