Job DescriptionJob summary:To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage and confidence to achieve their dreams, contribute to community, and engage in a lifetime of learning by assisting teaching staff and students with instructional support in the classroom.
Responsibilities- Support the academic and social-emotional needs of students.
- Assist the Principal, School Counselors, and Instructional Assistants with social-emotional learning and behavior support to individual students.
- Supervise students in large group situations in classroom and other areas of the building or small groups.
- Work with students individually or in small groups instructionally.
- Assist in small group assessments and data management as it relates to student work in the areas of reading and math.
- Perform functions associated with classroom protocols.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Highly Qualified – applicants meet the Highly Qualified requirement if they have:
- Two years of study at an institution of higher education (a minimum of 60 semester credits or the amount required to complete two years of full-time enrollment as determined by the institution attended); OR
- An associate’s degree (or higher); OR
- Received a passing score on the Para Pro, Para Educator, or Para Pathways Assessment.

Work ScheduleMonday through Friday, 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.
FTE6 hours/day (4.5 hours instructional; 1.5 hours clerical).
