Job Summary
:
To inspire and prepare each scholar with confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning. Provide classroom instruction across multiple classrooms; make appropriate and equitable use of instructional resources and technologies; implement the goals and objectives of the district and the school for which employed; maintain contact and communication with teachers, staff, school, district leaders, and guardians/caregivers, when applicable;

deliver and assess curriculum according to district guidelines; follow system policies concerning scholar conduct and discipline; work collaboratively with others. Willing to participate in district, building, and department leadership activities. This continuous substitute position will be at Cedar Island Elementary School, with the possibility to be moved to another site if no substitute positions are open at Cedar Island that day.

Minimum qualifications
:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Tier 3 or 4 Minnesota teaching license; K-6 Elementary Education license is preferred.
• If not currently licensed, must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive at least a Tier 2 license.

Salary
: $37.00 hourly (Schedule D rate of pay).

This is a temporary assignment. This position will end on June 10, 2027 (last day of school for students).
