To inspire and prepare each scholar with the confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning. Provide classroom instruction in multiple classrooms; use instructional resources and technologies appropriately; implement the goals and objectives of the district, school, and program; maintain contact and communication with teachers, staff, school, district leaders, and guardians;

deliver and assess curriculum according to district guidelines; follow system policies and regulations concerning scholar conduct and discipline; follow professional practices consistent with school and system policies in working with scholars, records, guardians, and colleagues; provide in-person, synchronous, and asynchronous learning when applicable; work collaboratively with others. Willing to participate in district, building, and department leadership activities. The continuous substitute position will be at Fernbrook Elementary School, with the possibility to be moved to another site if no substitute positions are open at Fernbrook that day.

Your assigned building may change through the year based on system needs.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Tier 3 or 4 Minnesota teaching license. K-6 Elementary Education license is preferred.
• If not currently licensed, must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive at least a Tier 2 license.

Salary: $37.00 hourly (Schedule D rate of pay)

This is a temporary assignment. The position will end on June 10, 2027 (last day of school for students).
