Hope Academy is a private, Christ-centered school serving a beautifully diverse community in the heart of urban Minneapolis. We are seeking a passionate, faith-filled Math & Reading Interventionist to provide support and instruction to students who are struggling. This position is a federally funded position.
Job DetailsThis is a posting for a K-5 Math v& Reading Position with Title I for the 2026-27 school year. The position is a 22 hour/week position, Monday – Thursday, 9:45a-3:15p. The pay rate is $30-40/hour based on experience.
This role will primarily provide math and reading intervention for students in grades 3–5, with intervention support for kindergarten and first grade as needed.
This position is eligible for health benefits.
Responsibilities- Provide Tier II small group instruction to students who are identified as at-risk for reading and math.
- Use evidence-based strategies and interventions to support student learning.
- Monito student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure students receive the support they need.
- Attend Title staff meetings, data meetings, and professional development opportunities as required.
- Minimum BS or BA in Education with licensure that includes K-5
- Valid Teaching License in Good Standing
- Training in intervention methods such as Ortin-Gillingham and/or Lindamood-Bell strongly preferred; please provide certifcates
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
