Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as an onsite resource special education teacher for the upcoming school year. Help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment where every child has the opportunity to succeed. This full-time position runs from late August 2026 to early June 2027, offering the chance to collaborate daily with students and staff in an elementary school setting.

What you’ll bring:

• Active Minnesota Special Education Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
• Experience working with elementary resource caseloads preferred
• Ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and tailor instruction for diverse learners
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work alongside general educators, specialists, and families
• Organizational abilities for documentation, progress monitoring, and adapting lesson materials
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere in the classroom
• Availability for the full school calendar (Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week)

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction and intervention aligned with each student’s IEP goals
• Adapt teaching methods to suit varying abilities and learning styles
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date student records and progress data
• Support general education staff with accommodations and modifications
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student growth and needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff collaboration, and professional development
• Contribute to a team environment dedicated to student achievement and well-being
