This full-time contract role requires a dedicated professional skilled in Adaptive Physical Education to enhance student experiences at middle school campuses. Beginning in early September and extending through late November, you'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact during the crucial start of the academic year.

Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Minnesota DAPE (Developmental Adaptive Physical Education) license
- Demonstrated experience as an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher in a school setting
- Strong understanding of adaptive PE curriculum design and implementation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and support teams
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for students of varying abilities
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized adaptive physical education programs to meet student needs
- Assess, track, and report on student progress in motor and social/emotional development
- Modify activities and equipment to support accessibility and engagement
- Consult regularly with educators, paraprofessionals, parents/guardians, and other specialists
- Contribute to IEP meeting processes and documentation for assigned caseload
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines for adaptive PE instruction
- Rotate between Northdale Middle School and Roosevelt Middle School as assigned
