A global leader in medical technology is seeking a Senior Process Development Engineer to drive the creation, optimization, and advancement of next‑generation products and manufacturing processes. This is a highly visible, hands‑on engineering role for a seasoned professional who thrives in regulated environments and wants to see their work directly impact patient outcomes worldwide.
Schedule: Monday‑Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: Up to $58 per hour
Work Environment: Fully onsite
What You’ll Do Each Day- Develop and execute complex engineering plans supporting new technologies, products, materials, processes, and equipment
- Generate innovative, market‑driven solutions and submit idea disclosures that lead to new or improved products and processes
- Lead and complete advanced engineering work, including process development, product design, material and product testing, and research investigations
- Design, coordinate, and evaluate complex engineering tests and experiments
- Analyze, interpret, and draw conclusions from sophisticated test and validation data
- Translate customer and clinical needs into well‑defined product requirements and design specifications
- Prepare clear, detailed technical reports and engineering documentation for the technical community
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing, quality, regulatory, clinical, marketing, and process development teams to ensure project success
- Interface with physicians and cath lab personnel to gather real‑world feedback on device concepts and performance
- Manage project goals, timelines, documentation, and recommend scope or direction changes as needed
- Mentor and provide work direction to technicians and entry‑level engineers as required
- Apply Product Development Process and Technical Development Process methodologies to deliver high‑impact results
- Embed quality into all work while maintaining full compliance with quality system requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 3–5 years of professional engineering experience
- Proven background in a regulated industry
- Strong experience with manufacturing and/or process development
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work onsite five days per week
