SummaryThe Ash Group is hiring a Sr. Mechanical Engineer for our client, a global leader providing advanced systems and support in Maple Grove, MN (Hybrid) offering a pay rate of $60 per hour based on skillset.
- Compensation:
Up to $60/hr W2 - Benefits:
Medical, dental, vision, and direct primary care benefits. After six months of employment, enjoy a 4% matched 401(k) plan with immediate 100% vesting. - Duration: 12-month contract
- Location:
Maple Grove, MN (Hybrid)
- Researches, plans, analyzes, designs, and develops mechanical products such as ammunition handling systems, structures, gun systems, missile launchers, mechanisms, and other devices.
- Performs technical analysis, testing, and evaluation of moderately complex engineering problems using specialized equipment and computer programs.
- Analyzes and interprets design specifications, drawings, documents, models, and test results to ensure technical designs comply with applicable engineering standards, military specifications, and product requirements.
- Develops and writes technical documentation, revises existing documentation, and provides input to technical papers or presentations.
- May deliver technical presentations related to production support activities.
- Create and maintain product parts, assemblies and drawing using PTC Creo Parametric 11 modeling software.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, plus 4 years relevant experience or an M.S. degree and 2 years experience.
- Must have working knowledge of creating moderately complex solid models and mechanical designs using CAD systems, preferably PTC Pro-E or CREO.
- Ability to solve moderately complex technical design and development problems that require a professional level of engineering knowledge is required.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Experience working with internal or external shops to manufacture designs.
