Position Summary:

We are seeking a qualified, innovative production engineer to join our growing organization. In this position, the candidate will be supporting new work coming into Operations and will be creating manufacturing packages to produce high-quality products. The candidate will be working with HVAC systems and components including but not limited to: enthalpy & sensible plate heat exchangers, energy recovery wheels, gas and electric heaters, hot water coils, cold water coils, DX coils, filter racks, control dampers, fan array systems, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

Project management and project ownership from job release to job completion

Purchasing components and vendor management

Communicate with clients and vendors to obtain materials and/or equipment needed

Creating manufacturing packages including shop drawings, and assembly instructions

Providing shop/Manufacturing support

Create engineering solutions for sheet metal design optimization

Participate and/or lead Continuous Improvement efforts

Support sales team with design review to ensure successful installation

Qualifications & Requirements:

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering3+ years of professional experience

Solidworks experience2D CAD experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred:

Experience in the commercial HVAC industry

Lean Six Sigma certification
