Position Summary:

In this role, you will be working on our Daedex line of products to bring new technology into mission-critical markets like data centers, battery plants, chip manufacturing and more. We are seeking a qualified, innovative production engineer to join our growing organization. The purpose of the role is to bridge design and production, optimizing designs for manufacturability while enhancing processes to support high-reliability units.

In this position, the candidate will be supporting new work coming into Operations and will be creating manufacturing packages to produce high-quality products. The candidate will be working with liquid coolant distribution units and HVAC systems and components including but not limited to: enthalpy & sensible plate heat exchangers, energy recovery wheels, gas and electric heaters, hot water coils, cold water coils, DX coils, filter racks, control dampers, fan array systems, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

Project management and project ownership from job release to job completion

Technical lead for all manufacturing processes

Purchasing components and vendor management

Communicate with clients and vendors to obtain materials and/or equipment needed

Creating manufacturing packages including shop drawings, and assembly instructions

Providing shop/Manufacturing support

Create engineering solutions for sheet metal design optimization

Participate and/or lead Continuous Improvement efforts

Drive improvements in yield, cycle times, and first-pass quality through data-driven continuous improvement initiatives

Support sales team with design review to ensure successful installation

Lead new concepts and product designs through the factory, ensuring efficient troubleshooting and rapid iteration to meet aggressive timelines.

Implement Design for Manufacturability (DFM) strategies early in the design process, collaborating cross-functionally to optimize manufacturing outcomes.

Develop and maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process plans, ensuring compliance with quality standards like AS9100.Lead efforts to resolve hardware nonconformance issues promptly, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Act as a technical lead in troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing issues, supporting production and quality teams

Qualifications & Requirements:

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering2+ years of full-time engineering experience

Proven track record of success in an industrial manufacturing environment

Solid

Works experience2D CAD experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred:

Experience in the commercial HVAC industry

Lean Six Sigma certification
