Electrical Design Engineer

This is one of the most senior individual contributor electrical engineering positions on the team, responsible for leading technical programs, influencing electrical architecture decisions, and serving as a trusted advisor to customers and engineering leadership.

The ideal candidate combines deep hands‑on design expertise with strong communication skills and the ability to lead through influence.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical hardware design, including PCBA design, schematic capture, and electrical system architecture.
• Proven experience leading technical project teams through R&D and new product development efforts.
• Strong customer‑facing communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience supporting products from concept through validation, manufacturing, and production release.

• Aerospace & Defense experience, including military‑related products or regulated engineering environments.
• Experience with power distribution design and power electronics systems.
• RF design or RF systems knowledge.
• Embedded software or firmware exposure.
• Experience presenting technical solutions to customers, executive leadership, and cross‑functional teams.

As a Staff Electrical Design Engineer, you will serve as the technical lead for complex customer‑driven product development programs, owning electrical architecture, schematic design, and PCBA development activities from concept through production. You will work directly with customers to understand requirements, communicate technical solutions, provide project updates, and build long‑term relationships while partnering closely with internal engineering, manufacturing, quality, and program leadership teams.

This role requires balancing deep technical design work with customer interaction, design reviews, technical presentations, and mentoring engineers across multiple projects. You will help guide new product development efforts, drive technical decision‑making, support product validation and manufacturing readiness, and ensure high‑quality electrical solutions are delivered across a diverse portfolio of highly engineered products.
