PositionSummary
The person in this role will be working with HVAC systems and components including but not limited to: enthalpy & sensible plate heat exchangers, energy recovery wheels, gas and electric heaters, hot water coils, cold water coils, DX coils, filter racks, control dampers, fan array systems, and much more. The person we are looking for needs to be able to create blueprints, drawings, and 3-D models for manufacturing packages.
Describe production and installation methods step-by-step to create manuals that describe existing products. Create drawings and instructions for installation and operation manuals.
- Create 3D models of HVAC equipment
- Design sheet metal parts in Solid Works
- Create manufacturing packages including shop drawings, and assembly instructions
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to create accurate designs and documentation
- Manage, process, and update revisions, drawings, and bill of materials
- Exhibit mechanical aptitude with abstract thinking and reasoning skills
Required:
- Associate’s/Technical degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of Solid Works experience or similar 3D software
- 2D CAD experience
Preferred:
- Solid Works certification
- Additional certification from the ADDA
- High level of attention to small details
- Basic understanding of manufacturing practices and processes
- Must work well in a team setting
