BranchOperations Lead
In a JPM Branch you will work closely with the Branch Manager, branch employees, and the broader team of experts to ensure client financial transactions are handled with precision and care while adhering to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Your daily tasks include assisting clients, introducing self‑service options, and reviewing branch operations to keep the team informed of the latest policies.
Leadership will help the branch exceed control expectations and maintain a positive tone in the branch environment.
- Collaborate with the Branch Manager to create a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere, ensuring every client has an exceptional experience.
- Greet clients warmly and demonstrate genuine care during interactions, assisting with transactions and managing lobby flow.
- Lead branch operations, including management of cash devices such as the cash vault and ATM, resolving client issues quickly and consistently.
- Communicate clearly and politely, anticipating client needs and managing the waiting queue for smooth visits.
- Introduce clients to the friendly branch team and collaborate to deliver seamless service with sincerity.
- Simplify the banking experience by sharing self‑service options, allowing clients to access accounts anytime.
- Support the Branch Manager in all aspects of operations, maintaining high standards for loss control, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Commitment to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for multi‑tasking.
- Leadership and operational proficiency, ensuring transaction accuracy within a collaborative team.
- Passion for educating the branch team and partners and for staying connected.
- Ability to build meaningful connections and engage clients, educating them and referring them to experts when needed.
- 1+ year of retail banking experience.
- High school diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent.
- Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
- 6+ months of Associate Banker (Teller) experience.
- College degree or military equivalent.
- Successful completion of the Branch Operations Lead Training Program.
- Travel to in‑person training and meetings as required.
