Radiologic Technologist

Responsibilities / Job Duties

• Perform CT and X-Ray imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols
• Prepare, position, and educate patients to ensure comfort, safety, and high-quality imaging
• Administer oral and IV contrast agents and monitor patients for adverse reactions
• Perform IV starts (preferred)
• Optimize imaging parameters to produce accurate diagnostic images
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare team members
• Accurately document patient information, imaging data, and contrast usage
• Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and quality assurance of imaging equipment
• Assist with training and mentoring of students or new staff as needed
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development

• ARRT Certification in Radiography (Required)
• Must have graduated from an accredited radiology technology school
• A minimum of one year experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital setting is preferred.
• Willing to consider new graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and imaging principles
• Excellent patient care, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
