Overview

Therapy/Rehabilitation/OT Acute Care Hospital — Saint Cloud, MN

On-site, 13 weeks. Day shift, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.

• Therapy/Rehabilitation/Occupational Therapy (OT) professionals in an acute care hospital evaluate and treat patients with injuries, illnesses, or post-surgical conditions to restore functional independence.
• Assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Interventions focus on improving mobility, self-care, safety, and adaptive skills needed for daily living.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to support safe discharge planning.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, equipment use, and energy-conservation strategies.
• Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Looking for an OT to work 5x8 days with every 4th weekend.
• Must have previous NICU experience.
• Must have license or already applied. ETA is 6 weeks.
• 1 year experience; EPIC experience preferred.

• Licensed OT or actively pursuing licensure (or has already applied).
• 1 year of experience in OT, preferably in acute care or NICU settings.
• EPIC experience preferred.
