The Staffing Support Coordinator provides assistance to the manager for staffing and scheduling and time card editing. Generally supports several managers with a combined staff of around 200. Provides backup to Staffing Specialists to provide flexibility in scheduling for the Resource Management Department, and other clinical departments.
Requirements- Three or more years Hospital Clerical Experience required.
- One year experience as Staffing specialist or Health Unit Coordinator
- Experience with scheduling in complex health care environment.
- Experience using API staff/Scheduling or equivalent preferred.
- Experience using API time/attendance or equivalent preferred.
- Proven ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and work independently with minimum supervision.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Organizational, logical problem solving and decision making skills required.
- Strict attention to detail and accuracy required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) software
- Ability to perform Staffing Specialist duties
