The Physical Therapist is a member of the Rehabilitation Therapy team who evaluates a customer’s physical and/or cognitive needs. The therapist establishes a care plan and directs or provides individualized care within the scope of practice. The goal is to prevent further impairments, improve function, and promote independence, while educating patients, caregivers, and families about the care plan. The Physical Therapist works as part of the Maple Grove Hospital interdisciplinary care team and collaborates with clinical and non‑clinical team members to provide unmatched customer service.

• Baccalaureate degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy. Master’s or Doctorate preferred.

• Minimum experience in diagnostic group, hospital‑based acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, or outpatient neurological clinical settings during training, residency, or fellowship for new graduates. Demonstrates entry‑level competency and skills.
• Advanced skills with specific low‑incidence or high‑risk diagnostic groups, evaluation tools, or treatment protocols preferred. Additional certifications beyond licensure considered based on demand or organizational need.
• Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to express ideas and information in written and oral form clearly and concisely for appropriate audiences.
• Ability to manage conflict positively and consider the needs, feelings, and capabilities of others.
• Accountability for quality customer service and responsiveness to a variety of personalities and situations.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.
• Must read, write, and speak English effectively.

• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of Minnesota.
• BLS Certification.

Salary Range: N22 ($37.49 - $56.23) based on experience
