Qualifications:
  • Active and current Minnesota SLP license required
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
  • Strong understanding of speech and language development in children and adolescents
  • Ability to work effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Compassionate communication skills and a passion for empowering students
What You'll Do:
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students speech and language needs
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams to advocate for students best outcomes
  • Offer resources, training, and support to families and school personnel regarding communication strategies and interventions
