This position is accountable for providing guests with an exceptional dining and banquet experience.

• Efficiently and properly perform all service standards
• Respond to guest requests before, during and after functions
• Conduct all service with a friendly, helpful, and professional demeanor
• Follow and enforce all health, liquor, and safety regulations
• Ensure guests are legal to purchase alcohol by verifying proper I.D.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption of guests and maintain compliance with regulations
• Follow directions as given by banquet captain or banquet manager

• Attend all pre-event meetings on the day of the event
• Follow Banquet Event Order for each function
• Efficiently complete all pre- and post-function duties
• Ensure facility is in top condition before, during and after each event
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas throughout the event center and kitchen

• Must be 18 years old
• Must be familiar with, adhere to, and be willing to enforce all liquor-serving laws
• Adaptable, dependable and detail oriented, and flexible with hours for evening and weekend work
• Must be a self-starter and work effectively as part of a team, helping others if needed
• Must display positive attitude in managing interactions with others inside and outside the company
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi task

The physical working conditions of this position include an environment where standing, walking, bending and reaching 6-10 hours is routine, and sitting 1 to 2 hours occurs occasionally. Server must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. for short periods.
