What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Oversee and administer leave requests, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Develop, implement, and manage leave programs to assist organizational leaders in managing absences
  • Communicate effectively with employees regarding their leave needs and interpret leave policies and procedures
  • Create policies and procedures that ensure compliance with applicable laws and best practices
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various internal teams to support leave administration
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in HR, specifically in leave administration
  • Extensive knowledge of leave requirements and legal protections under FMLA, ADA, and other applicable laws
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Specialized certification or training in leave administration (e.g., SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP)
