Rate: The hourly pay rate range for this position is $41.12–$52.51, dependent on qualifications and experience.

Job Title: Senior Business Analyst – Salesforce

Project Description:

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in Salesforce to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business processes and how they can be optimized using Salesforce. This role will support key initiatives by gathering requirements, identifying solutions, and ensuring successful implementation of Salesforce enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, define, and prioritize business and system requirements for Salesforce projects and enhancements.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and user stories.
• Gap Analysis: Identify gaps between current and desired states, and recommend optimization strategies.
• Prototyping & Wire framing: Build future state models, create mockups, and demonstrate Salesforce out-of-the-box features to meet business needs.
• Reporting: Develop reports and dashboards in Salesforce to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Workshop Facilitation: Lead discovery workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and brainstorming meetings to uncover complex requirements and translate them into actionable user stories and solutions.
• User Support: Troubleshoot Salesforce issues and provide best-practice guidance and training to end users.
• Testing: Develop test plans, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), and validate that solutions meet business objectives and are defect-free.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date on Salesforce updates and new features. Recommend and implement platform enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Salesforce experience is essential – especially Salesforce implementation knowledge.

Must be familiar with:

• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Monthly release cadences (1 day/month of evening hours, flexible and pre-scheduled)
• Experience with Salesforce products (Health Cloud) required
• Presentation skills are crucial – must effectively present to end users and executive leadership.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce, including configuration and administration.
• Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud is required.

Certifications (preferred):

• Salesforce Certified Administrator or Advanced Administrator
• Salesforce Certified Business Analyst
• Salesforce Platform App Builder

Skills:

• Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, limitations, and best practices
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to produce functional specifications, user stories, and process flow diagrams
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experienced in collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Skilled in facilitating stakeholder conversations and discovery sessions
