General Summary
The Supply Chain Manager provides direction and guidance to the procurement, materials management, production scheduling and logistics teams to optimize the cost and delivery of materials and services to the manufacturing site. The manager ensures supply availability to meet client demand and on‑time delivery commitments, continuously reviews supply chain functions, and identifies improvement opportunities to increase efficiency in the production process.
EssentialJob Functions
Develop and execute processes and strategies related to procurement of inventory and non‑inventory items, ensuring timely delivery, high quality, and cost‑effective pricing to meet client commitments.
Direct inventory turn management, purchase price variance, and SIOP processes to meet customer demand while achieving working capital targets and year‑over‑year savings.
Monitor supply chain performance, spend data, and internal metrics to identify improvement opportunities and create sustainable outcomes.
Manage supplier and customer relationships, performance metrics, and sourcing requirements.
Drive the implementation of integrated supply‑chain solutions from customer order to delivery.
Act as the client‑facing liaison, overseeing sourcing, procurement, production scheduling, materials management, and logistics teams.
Minimum Education & Experience- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience in the manufacturing industry.
- At least 7 years of progressive people‑management/supervisory experience in supply chain.
- Knowledge of cGMP and regulated environments.
- Experience in all aspects of materials management systems, procurement, and supplier development.
- Strong communication, professionalism, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in SAP is desirable.
APICS certification strongly recommended.
TravelLimited or no travel required.
Compensation Range$108,000 – $150,000.
